2.Circumstances of the violation:Per an official letter received from the Financial Supervisory Commission, former financial planning personnel of Chang Hwa Commercial Bank were involved in lapses that included misappropriation of client funds, abnormal financial dealings with clients, and behavior that involved improper insurance solicitation. These lapses were in violation of the regulations in Article 45-1, Paragraph 1 of the Banking Act of the Republic of China.

3.Monetary amount of fines:NT$12,000,000.

4.Status of the injunction by the respective competent authority: An administrative fine of NT$12,000,000 was imposed on Chang Hwa Commercial Bank.
