Demand deposit

Account opening subject

  1. Individual, company, firm, agency, school, organization and government owned institution are eligible to file application

Deposit minimum amount

  1. Account opening amount shall not less than NT$ 1,000, and no limitation on the transaction amount

Deposit/withdrawal method

  1. Deposit and withdrawal at any time with deposit book, simple procedure, and individual applicant can apply for debit card

Interest calculation and collection method

  1. Interest calculated according to the interest rate announced by our bank, and interest is settled once every half year.

Interest accrual starting point

  1. For demand deposit (including securities), interbank deposit, the amount is NT$ 10,000. When a single account daily deposit balance is less than the interest accrual starting point, the deposit interest will not be calculated for that day. For balance exceeding the interest accrual starting point, the interest calculation is based on the unit of NT$100.
